The Journey
I began my career teaching middle and high school literature, where I spent seven years helping students find meaning in stories and confidence in their own voices. Ready for a change, I transitioned into freelance copywriting as a way to turn my love of words into a new creative chapter. That foundation in storytelling and communication led me into senior copywriting roles, where strategy and narrative became central to the work. Over time, my focus shifted from writing the work to leading it—moving through Associate Creative Director roles and into my current role as Creative Director, where I guide teams, shape process, and help brands tell clearer, more meaningful stories.
